Anti-stress massage is a soothing session designed to release the tension that modern life accumulates in the body from targeted points.
Concentrated on the neck, shoulders, upper back and head, the touch calms the nervous system with slow, sustained pressure.
The first sign of chronic stress in the body is the tightening of the upper trapezius (back of the shoulder) and suboccipital (base of the skull) muscles. These areas are the anatomical anchor points of the sympathetic nervous system — the 'fight or flight' response. In the anti-stress protocol these areas are first warmed, then released with finger pressure and palm friction. Head and scalp massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system; the pulse slows and tension eases.
It does the body and mind good at the same time after long screen hours, intense meetings or mental fatigue. Taken regularly, it forms a strong anchor as part of a stress-management routine. For guests with a history of migraine the pressure is reduced; in cases of high blood pressure, dizziness or intense anxiety please inform our therapist before the session.
