Sports massage is a broad-scope application designed for guests who train regularly, maintain their performance and seek a sustainable recovery process.
The session is planned according to the person's sport and most recent training. Deep tissue, rapid vibration, stretching and mobilisation techniques are applied to the muscle groups. A marathon runner, an individual athlete who does weight training, and a professional in team sports — each has different needs, so each plan is different.
The protocol is usually one of four approaches: pre-event (activating before competition), post-event (recovering after competition), maintenance (routine protective) or rehabilitative (supportive after injury). The goal is not only momentary relief but preserving the flexibility of muscle tissue, blood flow and nerve-muscle communication.
The broad 90-minute window includes warm-up, deep work, recovery and breathing sections together. It lowers the risk of injury, preserves range of motion and eases the return to training. Leaving a 24-48 hour gap before a competition or heavy training is beneficial; very deep tissue work can temporarily reduce performance on competition day. Staying in touch with your coach or physiotherapist gives the best result.
